All Natural Tallow. High quality beef suet is sourced from trusted local New Jersey Farmers. Lovingly created in small batches to ensure the highest quality. Our tallow is slightly whipped, but not piped into your jar, so you'll receive a full 2oz jar.
Our Ylang Ylang and Tulsi Basil tallow has a beautiful scent. It begins floral and as you massage into your skin, and the tallow begins to dry, you then smell the subtle notes of Tulsi Basil. This blend is also wonderful for blemishes, oily and acne prone skin. Ylang Ylang means, "flower of flowers," and has a delightful fragrance. Ocimum sanctum (Tulsi Basil) is a species native to India, a consort of Vishnu, and considered to be a sacred plant. Tulsi Basil's predominant chemical constituent is Eugenol, which is helpful in calming inflamed skin. It's an antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and very soothing.
-Tallow is nutrient rich containing many vitamins and is anti-inflammatory on it's own, before we add additional extracts and essential oils. It is very close to our skin's natural structure, which makes it non-irritating and gentle for use on sensitive skin.
-How to use your Tallow: Best to use dry clean hands every time you open your jar. Tallow will last 6 months to one year stored at room temperature, and avoiding introducing water / bacteria will help you meet that range.
-I like to take a small amount and warm between my finger tips and then apply in upward strokes to my face. Your face will be lovely and dewy looking after application. Let set for a few minutes before continuing with your spf, makeup, powder, etc.
-If your tallow arrives cold / hard from shipping, don't worry, just let it come to room temperature before use or like above, take a small amount and warm between your fingers before application.
-if it's warm outside and your tallow melted a little during shipping, you can put in the refrigerator for a time to firm up.
